On June 13, Academy Award director Ron Howard was joined by Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks and Bollywood acclaimed actor Irrfan Kahn for a photo call to celebrate the upcoming release of "Inferno” at Marina Bay Sands.
Held the next day, the red carpet event and film gala saw throngs of fans gathered to witness the ArtScience Museum building lit up in a visual representation of the film itself, with stills from the movie cast over it. The stars then shared a few intimate moments with the crowd, stopping to shake hands and pose for selfies.
Ron Howard returns to direct “Inferno”, a film based on the 2013 thriller bestseller by Dan Brown. Tom Hanks reprises the role of famous symbologist Robert Langdon, a professor at Harvard University, who wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia. Irrfan plays Harry 'The Provost' Sims, head of The Consortium. The film is slated to release this October.
